“But as he came closer to Jerusalem and saw the city ahead, he began to weep.”
Jesus cried for the city and for the pain of his friends when their brother had died.
Generally, you only cry about your own problems. Lift up your eyes, see the anguish of your neighbor and of your city and nation, and pray to the Lord with tears for them.
Pray like this: Father God, I recognize that I have cried out to tears about my situation, but I never did it for my city and its people. Change my heart to feel like Christ. I ask your blessing for my contacts and my land. In the Name of Jesus, amen.
Have a blessed day!
